HUNTING PANTHER

In most mythologies of the world the black panther is the personification of strength, protection and fearlessness. Additionally, a lone predator is traditionally a symbol of rebirth and renewal - a phenomenon extremely characteristic of Ukraine today.

The sculpture "Hunting Panther" is a unique work of art created by the famous Ukrainian sculptor-monumentalist Oleksiy Pergamenshchyk. He is the author of the Trident on the shield of the Motherland, many historical stone monuments, sculptures in the  Lavra and other iconic cultural locations in Ukraine  .

The sculpture was created in collaboration with the Volyn Gems company, which since 1931 has been mining such minerals as beryl, topaz, quartz and others at the world-famous Volyn deposit. The sculpture is made of the extremely hard semi-precious morion stone, decorated with precious beryls in a gold frame.

The "Hunting Panther" is an unprecedented example of a sculpture made of this mineral. Born billions of years ago in the depths of the Ukrainian land, this morion is one of the hardest and rarest in this size, especially given the risk of "free" carving without a preliminary sketch.

The magical properties of the morion, according to many beliefs, help its owner to increase financial well-being in the near future. The dynamics of movement and musculature of the graceful beast are among the most difficult tasks in stone sculpture, which directly affects its value as an investment.
